Creating a ServiceNow User

Before onboarding the ServiceNow application in Britive, you need to create a ServiceNow user with security admin privileges.

Follow the steps to create a ServiceNow user:

  1. Log in to ServiceNow with administrator privileges.
  2. Create a user with a valid email address and password. For more information, see Creating a user.
  3. Assign admin role to this user. For more information, see Assigning admin role to a user.
  4. Elevate the privileges. For more information, see Elevate the privileges.
  5. Assign security_admin role to the user. For more information, see Assigning security_admin role to a user.
  6. Logout from ServiceNow.
