    Configuring Global Session Settings

    • PDF

    Article summary

    The Britive tenant administrator can configure the Britive session timeout for all users in a tenant. This is handled in both cases when the user logs in from the IDP or locally through Britive credentials. The session time configures the session's lifetime until there is no activity for Britive and external users including SSO users.

    1. Login to Britive as an administrator.
    2. Click on Admin->Security.
    3. Click on Global Session Settings.
    4. Enter the desired session timeout in hours (valid range: 1 to 12 hours). This setting determines how long a user's session remains active without any activity within the Britive platform. Any changes to the session settings take effect in 30 minutes.
