Configuring Slack App

Follow these steps on Britive and Slack to add and configure Slack App:

1. Add a Slack Application notification medium in Britive using the steps specified in Creating and Managing Notification Mediums.
2. Add the newly created Slack application notification medium to the profile policy. For more information about adding a notification medium to a policy, see Managing Britive Profiles.
3. Integrate the configured Slack channel with the Britive app to receive notifications on the Slack channel.
   1. Right-click on the Slack channel you want to use.
   2. Click on the Integrations tab and click Add an app.
   3. Select the Britive app.
4. Once configured, you can verify using /britive hello command from your Slack workspace. For additional Britive commands, see Britive ChatOps Command Reference.
