    Article Summary

Britive provides release notes to let users know about new features, changes to existing features, known issues, bug fixes, etc. These release notes record all relevant changes that have been implemented in a release since the previous one.

    Platform Releases

The platform release notes section lists new features, enhancements, fixes, or any known issues in recent and previous releases of Britive, including releases in Early Access (EA).

Britive typically updates its platform incrementally once every two weeks. The General Availability (GA) release is usually two weeks after the EA release.

You can find the current release version at the bottom of the navigation menu. The release version numbering has the following format: <year>.<month>.<count>.<hotfix_number>,

    where

    • <count> specifies the increment of release for the <month>. For example, 2022.03.01 and 2022.03.02 are two incremental releases released in March 2022.
    • <hotfix_number> specifies the hot fix release number. This is shown only when a platform release has a hotfix applied on it.

For more information about Platform releases, see the Current release section.

    CLI Releases

The CLI release notes section lists new features, enhancements, fixes, or any known issues in recent and previous CLI releases. Britive Command Line Interface (CLI) releases don't follow a periodic release schedule, and therefore are ad-hoc.

For more information about CLI releases, see the Latest Releases section.

    Terraform Provider Releases

The Terraform provider release notes section lists the new features and fixes of the Britive terraform provider that you will need to consider when upgrading. Like Command Line Interface (CLI) releases, the Britive terraform provider releases don't follow a periodic release schedule, and therefore are ad-hoc.

For more information about Terraform release, see Terraform Releases details.
