Creating a Group in Oracle Cloud

A group is required to add the newly-created user. 

This section explains how to create a group in Oracle Cloud and add a new user to the group. 

Perform the following steps for creating a group in Oracle Cloud:

1. Login to the Oracle cloud console with administrator privileges.
2. Click Identity & Security from the navigation menu.
3. Select Groups from the Identity section.
4. Click Create Group. 
5. Enter the following in the Create Group window:
   1. Enter the Name as BritiveGroup.
   2. Enter Description.
   3. Click Create. The group is created.
6. Add the user created in this section Creating a User in Oracle Cloudto this newly created group:
   1. Click Add User to Group in the newly created group, 
   2. Select the required user in the Add User to Group window. For example, BritiveUser. 
   3. Click Add. The user is added to the group.
