Administrators need to communicate important information/announcements to users. Examples include planned maintenance activity or other messages related to Britive services. Administrators can configure a custom system announcement message displayed as a banner and for a certain period for users.
Administrators can configure a default landing page from general settings for this tenant. Users are redirected to this selected landing page after logging in.
Log in to Britive as an administrator.
Click on Admin->Global Settings->General Settings.
System Announcement:
To configure a system announcement, click Edit from the System Announcement section.
Turn Display System Announcement ON.
Select the Message Type from Info/Warning/Caution.
Type the message.
Select Start and End Date/Time if the message needs to be displayed for a specified time.
Click Save.
The message is displayed as a banner after refreshing the page, post-login, or after a 10-minute polling period. If the message is read/displayed already, it can be accessed through the Announcement icon from the top right side of the page.
Landing Page:
To select a default landing page, click Edit from the Landing Page section.
Select the default landing page.
Click Save.
