Creating Salesforce Permission Set
- Log in to Salesforce with an account with permission to manage profiles and permission sets.
- Click on Setup and search for Permission Sets.
- Click on the New button to create a new permission set.
- Enter Britive as a Label and API Name field.
- Click Save.
- Scroll down and click on System Permissions.
- Remove all the existing permissions and assign the following permissions. When selecting an option, some options are automatically selected, do not remove them.
- API Enabled
- Manage Users
- Modify All Data
- Click Save.
- Click on Manage Assignments.
- Assign the user with this permission set.

Creating a Salesforce User
Follow the steps below to create a user:
- Log in to Salesforce with administrator privileges.
- Click on Setup->Users.
- Click on the New User button.
- Create a user with a valid email address.
- Assign the above permission set to the user.
- Logout from Salesforce.

Resetting Security Token
- Log in to Salesforce with a new account created using the Creating a user step.
- Click Settings under the user profile icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on Reset My Security Token from the navigation menu.
- Click Reset Security Token. This resets the token and sends a new token via email.
- Provide the user email address, password, and security token to the Britive administrator to complete the Salesforce configuration in Britive.
