Britive Analytics presents raw data in graphical, customized, and intuitive dashboards. It retrieves data from a single or multiple datasets, making it easier to create dashboards. It helps administrators to analyze and process data to monitor further or take required actions. The Britive database is already created with numerous out-of-the-box datasets, but users can create different datasets within it.
The following roles are provided for Analytics:
Editor: Editors can manage dashboards, datasets, and charts.
Guests: Guests can view the dashboards created by editors, but they cannot edit them.
Components
Dashboards: It features a collection of customized charts to represent complex data in an easy-to-read format.
Charts: You can create various types of charts to visualize datasets in a graphical representation. Dashboards are built from charts, which are prepared from datasets.
Datasets: Britive provides numerous out-of-the-box datasets. The datasets can be physical (actual tables from the Britive database) or virtual (created using custom SQL queries). Administrators can create their own customized datasets. For a list of out-of-the-box datasets, see Britive Datasets.
SQL Lab: You can write, run, and save custom SQL queries against any Britive database tables.
For more information about dashboards and all related components, see Creating a dashboard.
Manage Dashboards
Log in to Britive as an administrator.
Click on Admin-> Analytics. All published dashboards are displayed.
Click the Manage Dashboards button to add, edit, export, publish, or delete a dashboard. This launches another tab with all the dashboards, charts, and SQL queries. You can close this tab by clicking the Close button on the title bar.
Out-of-the-box datasets
Britive provides numerous out-of-the-box datasets that can be used to create charts and visualizations. Users can also create and customize their own datasets according to their specific requirements. To know more about the out-of-the-box datasets, see Britive Datasets.
