This section provides the prerequisites for onboarding an AWS Account Access application to Britive as well as those for checking in or checking out profiles after onboarding the application.

Note:

If you configured an existing AWS or AWS standalone application (for the management AWS account), then the same role can be used by making additional configurations as requested in the steps below.

Onboarding Prerequisites

The onboarding prerequisites include getting the required accounts and access and performing specific configurations in AWS, as explained in the following sections.

Accounts and Access

Before onboarding an AWS Account Access application in Britive, ensure that the following prerequisites are met.

Accounts and Access:

  • An AWS organization with a management AWS account

  • Administrator access to the management AWS account

  • An IAM Identity Center organization instance, with users synchronized from your identity source

  • An active Britive tenant account

  • Administrator access to the Britive tenant account
