Prerequisites

The onboarding prerequisites include getting the required accounts and access and performing specific configurations in GCP, as explained in the following sections.

Britive needs a service account that provides access to GCP. After creating an account, the following items are required:

• Organization ID
• Workload identity pool ID
• Workload identity provider ID
• Connected Service account email
• Project number for connected service account
• Project ID for creating service accounts

Before onboarding a GCP WIF tenant application, you must perform the following steps:

1. Enabling Cloud APIs
   
2. Creating a Custom Role for GCP Organization Application
3. Creating a Workload Identity Pool and Provider
4. Creating a Service Account
5. Connect Service Account to Workload Identity Pool
