Gateways

To create or manage a gateway:

1. Log in to Britive.

2. Click on System admin -> MCP Management -> Gateways.

3. Click the Create Gateway button and enter a Gateway Name and Description.

4. Click Save.

5. Copy the authentication token and close the window. It is shown only once. A gateway authenticates to the platform with this token to read the server catalog and publish tools.

6. Tokens: Tokens are displayed under this tab. You can copy, view, edit, or delete a token. Editing a token allows you to update the description and the token status to active or inactive.

   1. Click Create Token.

      1. Enter the token name and description.

      2. Copy the authentication token and close the window.

7. Settings: This tab holds all configurable settings for a given gateway. The gateway retrieves these at startup and, by default, re-synchronizes them every 5 minutes. For more information about settings, see Settings Reference.
