Britive Profile Management for AWS

Prev Next

When you have onboarded the required AWS application, you can create user profiles in Britive that correspond to the IAM roles in AWS. Then, you can check out or check in the profiles from the AWS application using Britive.

The following steps are involved in using the check-out or check-in functionality in Britive for AWS profiles:

  1. Prerequisites for AWS Profile Management

    1. Associating Identity Provider with a New IAM Role

    2. Associating Identity Provider with an Existing IAM Role

  2. Further Steps in Profile Management

There are two ways of granting access to an AWS account in Britive. One way is to select an organization unit or an account, or a group of organization units or accounts, under Associations in Profiles. While the other way to grant access is via AWS tag(s), you can select the AWS tag(s) under Associations in Profiles to grant access to the AWS accounts or organization units that are associated with the AWS tag(s).
