Select Application Type from the drop-down list.
Select the application from the applications listed for the selected application type.
Select a profile for the selected application. Initially, the app displays profiles found in the 50 records.
Click Search to search additional profiles for this application. Enter the profile name and click Search. Select from the listed profiles.
Users can perform checkout, check-in, request, or withdraw actions based on the profile’s status.
Checkout: Enter the justification (if required) and ITSM details(if needed), and click the Console checkout button.
Checkin/Withdraw: Click the Checkin/Withdraw button.
If the profile needs approval:
Enter justification. The user is notified when the approver approves the request via the specified notification medium defined in the policy. The request can be tracked under the My Requests page.
For the Advanced Settings enabled profile approval flow, see My Access → Checkout Advanced Settings enabled profiles.
Click Send Request.
After the chosen action, an acknowledgement message confirms the action, and the status is displayed in the Slack message tab.
