      Creating an API Token on Okta

        An API token is required for onboarding an Okta application with Britive. Follow these steps to create an API Token on Okta:

        Note:

        API token inherit the status of the account that is used to create them. If the account is deactivated/ deleted then the token associated with it will also be deactivated/deleted. It is therefore good practice to use a service account when you create API tokens.

        1. Log in to Okta Console with super administrator privileges.
        2. From the Navigation menu, click on Security->API.
        3. Click on the Tokens tab and click Create Token.
        4. Enter a name for the Token and click Create Token.
        5. Copy the Token Value and click OK.
