What's changed

With this policy-based access control, there are a few changes in the existing functionality.

• Assigning roles to users
• Security policies display
• Mapped/Migrated policies

Assigning roles to users

Earlier, the roles were assigned while creating the users under the Identity Management  tab as shown in the following figure:

With policy-based access control, the policies are assigned to the users using the new tab Role & Policy Management, as shown in the figure:

Security policies

Earlier, the policies were displayed under Admin->Security->Security Policies, as shown in the following figure:

With policy-based access control, the security policies are displayed under Admin -> System Administration -> Role & Policy Management -> Policies, as shown in the following figure:

Mapped/Migrated Policies

With policy-based access control, the existing policies are automatically mapped/migrated and shown under Admin -> System Administration -> Role & Policy Management -> Policies. The user can then fine-tune those according to their requirements.
