# Scanning Organizations and Environments

Once you have onboarded the Azure application to Britive, use the **Scan** button in the **Settings** tab to start a new scan.

The scans that you have submitted are visible in the **Scans**tab of the onboarded Azure application.

#### Steps for Scanning the Azure application

Perform the following steps in Britive for scanning the organizations or environments of the Azure account associated with the onboarded Azure application:

1. After testing the onboarded Azure application (as explained in the section [Onboarding an Azure Application in Britive](/v1/docs/onboarding-azure-steps)), select **Scan** from the **Properties**-> **Settings** tab on the **Create Application** page.
2. The page refreshes and provides you with the details of the scan on the **Scans** page.
3. When the scan is complete, click the completed scan entry under the **Summary**column to view the **Scan Data Summary**on the right side.

The Overview page shows the detailed scan summary data.

The **Data** tab displays a detailed view of **Permissions**, **Groups**, and **Accounts** in the Azure account.
