# Scanning Organizations and Environments

Once you have onboarded the GCP application to Britive, you can scan the organizations and environments.

The scans that are submitted are visible in the **Scans** tab of the onboarded GCP application.

#### Steps for Scanning the GCP application

Perform the following steps in Britive for scanning the organizations or environments of the GCP account associated with the onboarded GCP application:

1. After testing the onboarded GCP application (as explained in the section [Onboarding a GCP Application in Britive](/v1/docs/britive-configuration)), select **Scan** from the navigation menu.
2. The page refreshes and provides you with the details of the scan on the **Scans** page.
3. When the scan is complete, click the completed scan entry under the **Summary** column to view the **Scan Data Summary** on the right side.
4. Select **Overview** from the navigation menu to see the detailed scan summary data.
5. Select **Data** from the navigation menu to see the detailed view of **Permissions**, **Groups**, and **Accounts** in the GCP account.
