# Scanning Environments

You can scan the environment(s) within the onboarded AWS Identity Center applications from Britive.

Note:

You should complete the prerequisites for onboarding (described in [Prerequisites](/v1/docs/prerequisites-for-onboarding-and-profile-access)) and also onboard the AWS application successfully before scanning the environments in the AWS Identity Center application from Britive.

Perform the following steps to scan an environment in an onboarded AWS application:

1. From the **Scans** page, select **Scan Environments**.
2. Select the checkbox inline to the environment that you want to scan and click **Scan Selected**. The scan results are displayed on the **Scans** page.

The **Overview** page shows the detailed scan summary data and analytics.

The **Data** page displays a detailed view of **Permissions**, **Groups**, and **Accounts**available****within the AWS account. Applications detected during scans also appear under the **Permissions** tab.
