# Scanning Environments

You can scan the environment(s) within the onboarded AWS standalone applications from Britive.

Note:

You should complete the prerequisites for onboarding (described in Prerequisites) and also onboard the AWS application successfully before scanning the environments in the AWS application from Britive.

Perform the following steps to scan an environment in an onboarded AWS application:

1. From the **Scans** page, select **Scan Environments**.
2. Select the checkbox inline with the environment that you want to scan and click **Scan Selected**. The scan results are displayed on the **Scans** page.

The **Overview** page shows the detailed scan summary data and analytics.

The **Data** page displays the detailed view of **Permissions**, **Groups**, and **Accounts** available within the AWS account.
