# SAML Configurations

## Downloading SAML Metadata and Certificate

SAML metadata is required for using Britive as an identity provider.

1. Log in to Britive with administrator privileges.
2. Click **System admin** -> **Security**.
3. Click on the **SAML Configurations** tab.
4. Copy and save the **Sign-in URL** and **Sign-out URL**.
5. Download SAML metadata. This downloads the SAML metadata as an XML file to your computer and is required to configure the identity provider.
6. Download the SAML certificate. This downloads the .cer file on your computer and is required to configure SSO on the identity provider.
