# SAML Configurations

SAML metadata and a certificate are required for using Britive as an identity provider.

1. Log in to Britive with administrator privileges.
2. Click **System admin** -> **Security**.
3. Click on the **SAML Configurations** tab.
4. You can export (download to your computer or copy to clipboard) the following data:
  1. **SAML Metadata**: This is in XML format and is required to configure the identity provider.
  2. **SAML Certificate**: This is in *.cer* file format and is required to configure SSO on the identity provider.
  3. **WIF Certificate**: This is in a *.cer* file format and is required to configure the identity provider.
5. Copy and save the **Sign-in URL** and **Sign-out URL**. These URLs are used for configuring the identity provider during provisioning.
