# Resource Labels

Resource labels are used to tag or group resources to organize and manage them. A resource label is a key-value pair; each key can have multiple values. Resource labels can be selected from a predefined list of keys while creating a resource. Policies are configured to regulate access to view/manage resource labels.

1. Log in to Britive.
2. Click on **System admin**->**Resource Management**->**Resource Labels**.
3. Click the **Create Resource Label** button to create a new resource label.
4. Enter the **Name** and **Description** of a resource label.
5. Add one or more values and their descriptions to a resource label.
6. Click **Save**.
