The Britive Command Line Interface (CLI) provides a unified interface for interacting with the Britive System. It offers multiple interactive features for listing available profiles, environments, or applications, checking-in and checking-out of profiles, support for Britive service identities, and integration with the command line interface of various cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Britive has now officially released a new Python SDK and command line interface designed to better integrate with administrative scripting and automation environments. The new pybritive CLI tool can be found here and includes new support for Workload Federation, Approvals, Britive Administration and many other features. Moving forward, this new tool will be preferred over the existing “britive” CLI which will continue to receive bug fixes through December 2023.
