# Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Workload Identity Federation (WIF)

This onboarding guide explains how to onboard Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Workload Identity Federation (WIF) applications to Britive.

Once you have registered Britive as an application in GCP and configured the prerequisite steps, you can proceed with the onboarding steps and add a WIF tenant application in Britive.

After onboarding, you can scan the required GCP organization from Britive to get the details (such as permissions or accounts) associated with them. You can also check out and check in profiles from the onboarded GCP WIF applications.

Based on the GCP’s **Connected Service Account Email**'s permissions, Britive scans all folders and projects or organizations. For more information about this, see [Connect Service Account to Workload Identity Federation](/v1/docs/service-account-to-wipool-wif).
