# Creating a CrowdStrike Falcon API Key

Britive requires an API key that provides access to connect to CrowdStrike Falcon.

1. Create an API key. For more information on how to create a CrowdStrike API key, see [Creating CrowdStrike API Key](https://docs.reveald.com/technical-documentation/data-sources/crowdstrike/create-a-crowdstrike-api-key)
2. Note down the following parameters; they need to be added on the Endpoint Privilege Management page on Britive at the time of integration:
  - Client ID
  - Client secret
  - API URL
