This section explains how to create a group in Oracle Cloud and add a new user to the group. --- Perform the following steps for creating a group in Oracle Cloud: 1. Login to the Oracle cloud console with administrator privileges. 2. Click **Identity & Security** from the navigation menu. 3. Select **Groups** from the **Identity** section**.** 4. Click **Create Group**. 5. Enter the following in the **Create Group** window: 1. Enter the **Name** as **BritiveGroup.** 2. Enter **Description**. 3. Click **Create**. The group is created. 6. Add the user created in this section [Creating a User in Oracle Cloud](/v1/docs/creating-a-user-in-oracle-cloud) to this newly created group: 1. Click **Add User to Group** in the newly created group, 2. Select the required user in the **Add User to Group** window. For example, BritiveUser. 3. Click **Add**. The user is added to the group.
