# Configuring Teams App

Follow these steps on Britive and Teams to add and configure the Teams App:

1. Add a **Teams Application** notification medium in Britive using the steps specified in [Creating and Managing Notification Mediums](/v1/docs/notification-medium#slack-application).
2. Add the newly created Teams application notification medium to the profile policy. For more information about adding a notification medium to a policy, see [Managing Britive Profiles](https://docs.britive.com/v1/docs/profilemgmt-managing-profiles#policies).
3. Now, the app is available to all users in the Teams, **Apps**->**Build for your organization** section. Click **Add** to add the application to Teams. The app is available in the **Chat** section of Teams.
4. Integrate the configured Teams channel with the Britive app to receive notifications on that channel.
  1. Log in to Teams client.
  2. Select and open the Britive app from the app catalog.
  3. Select the channel from the list of channels, and click on **Go**. This registers that channel with Britive. You can add only one channel per app.
5. Once configured, you can verify using */britive hello* command from your Teams workspace. For additional Britive commands, see [Britive Chat Apps Command Reference](/v1/docs/britive-chatapps-command-reference).
