# Configurations in AWS : Prerequisites for Onboarding

Before onboarding the AWS application (or AWS standalone application) to Britive, you need to add Britive as the identity provider in the AWS account and also create IAM role(s) in the account.

The following diagram shows the sequence of performing these onboarding prerequisites.
