Britive ChatOps Command Reference

Ensure you installed and configured the Chat applications using the following procedures: 

All commands start with /britive or /br. For example, to log in to Britive tenant, use /britive login.

Command

Description

hello

Displays the Britive tenant configured with the Slack workspace.

For example, Hello <user>, your workspace <workspace name> is configured to <britive-tenant>

whoami

Displays which tenant the user is logged into. If a user has not logged in, a message displays indicating that the user has not logged in. 

For example, User <> logged into tenant <tenant name>

help

List all supported commands.

login

Log in to the Britive tenant.

list

Lists profiles, resources, etc.

checkout

Check out a profile.

checkin

Check in a profile.

request

Request profile approval.

checkedout

Lists all checked-out profiles.

myrequests

Lists requests sent for approval. For more information, see Slack App - Britive Profile Access -> My Requests.

myapprovals

Lists approval requests. For more information, see Slack App Britive Profile Access -> My Approvals.

checkedout_resources

Lists checked-out resources.

checkout_resource

Check out a resource.

request_resource

Request a resource.

checkin_resource

Check in a resource.

my_access

Check out, check in a profile, request approval, or withdraw a request. For more information, see Slack App - Britive Profile Access -> My Access.

Note: 

This command works only in the Slack app and triggers the menu feature.
