# Managing Active Sessions

Tenant administrators can manage and control active sessions for all users and service identities from the **Active Sessions** tile. They can terminate any particular or all active sessions of a user for security reasons. Terminating a session also closes all active sessions in the target application and logs them from Britive. They can also deactivate the user or service identity to block further logins into Britive.

1. Login to Britive as an administrator.
2. Click on **System admin**-> **Security**.
3. Click on **Active Sessions**. It displays a comprehensive list of all currently active checked-out sessions for all users.
4. Click on the **Manage** icon to manage either the application or resource-related sessions. You can select **Bulk Check-in** to check in all active sessions of a user or select **Check-in Selected Sessions**to select one or more profiles.
  1. Select **Check-in All Sessions** to check in all active sessions for this user.
  2. Select **Disable Identity** to block further logins from this user/identity.
