When true, the profile maps to a single shared account and only one user may have the profile checked out at a time. Other users will see the profile as locked until the holder checks in (which also triggers the configured rotation script). No default is declared deliberately: on a PATCH an omitted value must deserialize to null (leave the flag unchanged), not false.
